Frequency Response Data-Based LPV Controller Synthesis Applied to a Control Moment Gyroscope

Control of systems with operating condition-dependent dynamics, including control moment gyroscopes (CMGs), often requires controllers to achieve high performance. The aim this brief is develop a frequency response data-driven linear parameter-varying (LPV) design approach for single-input single-output (SISO) systems, which allows improved performance CMG. A stability theory using closed-loop function (FRF) data developed, subsequently used in synthesis procedure that guarantees local and Experimental results on CMG demonstrate the improvements.
